Deboss
Debossing stamps your logo into the surface with a heated die, leaving a crisp, sunken impression in the material. On leather and PU gifts it is the signature executive finish: permanent, subtle and completely ink-free.
Ideal for genuine and PU leather notebooks, folders, wallets and gift sets.
Emboss or deboss? Debossing sinks your logo below the surface; embossing raises it above. Both are ink-free and permanent, so the choice is purely about the look you want.
How does debossing work?
- 1
Your logo is formed into a metal die.
- 2
The die is heated to pressing temperature in the branding machine.
- 3
Your product is positioned under the die in the branding location.
- 4
The press closes and the heated die stamps your logo permanently into the surface.
Deboss questions, answered
Does a debossed logo wear off?
No. The impression is pressed into the material itself, so it lasts the life of the product, unlike a surface print.
Can debossing be done in colour?
Debossing is ink-free by design. For the same pressed impression in gold, silver or another colour, choose hot foil stamping.
Which products deboss best?
Genuine leather and PU take the cleanest impressions, which is why notebooks, folders and wallets are the classic debossed corporate gifts.
